Mr. Bob R. Lovan, "Booger Man", of Willow Springs, passed away on Friday, June 5th, 2015 at 11:20 PM while at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. Born on April 27th, 1933 in Willow Springs to Otho and Ivah Lovan, he was 82 years old. Bob was a life-long resident of Willow Springs where he worked as a truck driver and business owner for many years. During his teenage years, he sang and performed with Porter Waggoner on his radio show. Bob maintained a love of music his entire life. He married his wife Nancy in 1960. Bob was an avid horse lover and rider. He was the President of the Willow Springs Saddle Club for five years and worked diligently to promote the club. It was said that Bob never met a stranger and always had a story to tell! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents Otho and Ivah Lovan; one son Bobby G. Lovan; his daughter Melissa; and a great grandson Christian. Bob is survived by his wife Nancy Lovan of Willow Springs; his five children, Dona Wake and her husband Jim; Vicki Owens and her husband Larry; Jack Lovan and his wife Sharry; Martin Lovan and his wife Nancy; and Gary Lovan. He is further survived by fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A private family burial was held on Saturday June 6th 2015 at the family farm with Pastor David Lovan officiating. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Happy Trails To You...Until We Meet Again!!
