Mr. Charles Oliver Hiett II

December 13, 1958 - March 18, 2022

Charles O. Hiett, II was born on December 13,1958 to Martha and Charles Hiett in Honolulu, Hawaii. He passed away at his home in Willow Springs with his wife and son by his side on March 18, 2022. He married his wife, Cynthia Dawn on March 17, 1989, they have 3 children. Chuck served in the United States Navy for ten years as an Air Traffic Controller. As a sailor of the seven seas, he made many ports of call including: Ireland, Singapore, Pearl Harbor, as well as the local ports of Boston, Ft. Lauderdale, and New Orleans. His various jobs included many in the aviation field. Once settled in Missouri, he managed his family’s businesses. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping and water activities. He was a woodworker and enjoyed travel. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived in life by his wife, Cynthia Hiett; his daughters: Jennifer Koger, Victoria Lynne Kelly and her husband, Mathew; son, Charles (Chaz) Hiett, III; and grandchildren: Purity Lee, Kylie McKinster, and Jayden Kelly. Further survivors include his brother, James Hiett and his wife, Jayline; and sister, Maggie Hiett, as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, and very close family friends. In lieu of flowers donations to the Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society or the Boy Scouts of America are appreciated. The family will have a burial at sea at a later date.
