Diana Kay Mahan

Diana Kay Mahan Diana Kay Lewis Collins Mahan, a resident of Willow Springs, went to be with the Lord while at her home late Saturday afternoon, December 19, 2015, due to natural causes. Born March 18, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas to Vernon Jim and Willie Irene (Owen) Lewis, she was 65 years old. Diana worked at Rawlings in Willow Springs for seven years. She also worked at the Willow Springs Nursing Home for several years as a C.N.A. Her last job was at Regal Beloit or Marathon Electric, as most know it as, for twenty-one years. Diana was a member of Dry Creek Church. On July 20, 1967, she was married to Charles Faris Collins in West Plains, MO. To this union three children were born Rena, Tena, and CJ. Diana and Charles were married for Thirty-three years until Charles’ death on July 31, 2000. On June 13, 2002 Diana married Larry Curtis Mahan at Dry Creek Church. She had many enjoyments in life; however, she especially loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved sister Patsy Stevens, and her first husband Charles Collins. She is survived by her husband Larry Mahan of the home; one son, CJ Collins and his wife, Alyssa of West Plains, MO; two daughters, Rena Dysart and her husband Greg of Mountain Grove, MO; Tena Johnson and her husband, Russell of Willow Springs, MO; two brothers, Travis Lewis of Houston, Texas; and Charles Lewis of Lakeside, Oregon. She is further survived by four grandchildren, Austin and Tiffany Dysart and Jeremiah and Joshua Johnson; two great granddaughters, Sophia Johnson and Cynthia Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews who were all special to her. A visitation for Diana will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Willow Funeral Home, located at 106 E. Third Street in Willow Springs. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December, 23, 2015 at the Dry Creek Church, located on County Road 5120 off Z Highway in Willow Springs. Interment will follow at the Dry Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Diana’s name to the Dry Creek Cemetery fund and left at the funeral home.
